Country Expansion, Industrialization and Slavery, War In USA Part-2

One of the problems of this period of America was slavery. By the year 1861, more than three million African-Americans were slaves in the South. This means that he worked for other people, but he had no freedom and received no money for his work. Most did cotton work on large plantations. Cotton became the main crop in the South in 1793 after Eli Whitney invented the cotton gill. Some protesters revolted against Das, including Nat Turner.

Due to the American system, larger cities and more factories were built. One of the major transportation projects of this time was the Erie Canal, a canal in New York State. By the 1840s, railroads a

s well as canals were built. In 1845, Texas, which became a nation after leaving Mexico, joined the United States.

As a result of the war, America gained much in California and the American Southwest. Many people of the north did not like this war, as they felt it was good for the southern slave states. Were more satisfied and prosperous as a result of industrial success. In the agrarian-dominated southern states, many African slaves were brought here from Africa in the 14th and 17th centuries and they were the only ones who worked in agriculture.

Hence the southern states did not want to liberate these Negro slaves. All the northern states of America had enacted laws to abolish slavery gradually by 1804. The advent of the machine age widened the gap between North and South. Their coal and iron production increased and many factories started working there. The population there also started increasing rapidly. The people of the southern states were still based only on agriculture and did not progress with the era.

The population here also did not grow very fast. America's trade policy was beneficial to the northern states, but the south could not benefit from it. America has fought many wars and won many. But some wars became a sore throat for him. Neither swallowing nor boiling. One such war is the Vietnam War where the US lost about 58,000 of its troops.
